Afternoon Update:

As of noon, we are tracking just a few isolated showers on our radar.  Additionally, more cloud cover than sunshine is in place with temps in the upper 60s and low 70s as of lunchtime.  Though the temperatures will read mid 70s by this afternoon, expect it to be a thick and muggy 75 degrees.  Have your umbrellas on stand by through the day a few more spotty showers are possible.

Join Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for the very latest on your forecast.

As you're up and about this morning, make sure to grab your umbrella before heading out the door.  Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are in the forecast.  Don't expect much sunshine either. Clouds should dominate your morning and afternoon.  Temperatures today should settle in the low to mid 70s.  During the overnight, I'm forecasting temps to bottom out in the low 60s.

If you're looking for more sunshine, just wait until the weekend.  Though we have a chance for a shower or two on Saturday, at this point, it looks like Sunday will be the day to get outside.

Cool temps will make there way into the Blue Grass by late weekend and into early next week.  See the numbers by clicking on the video link...
