Afternoon Update:

We're holding on to the sunshine this afternoon, with a few more clouds moving in during the late evening, and eventually leading to showers and a few storms during the overnight into early Saturday morning.

Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack will join you at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on your weekend forecast!

Have a great Saturday & Sunday!

_______________________________

As you're waking up this Friday morning, a few of us are seeing areas of fog on the roadways, especially in our southern & eastern counties.  Otherwise, it's a comfortably cool start with a few passing clouds.  Mostly sunny skies should prevail this afternoon with increasing clouds, showers and a few storms overnight into early Saturday morning.  Temps today should top off in the upper 70s (with a few low 80 degree readings for those of you who see more sunshine!) with overnight lows falling into the upper 40s.

Some of you might need to turn on your heat this weekend! After a powerful cold front moves through overnight tonight into early Saturday morning, the coolest air of the season will move right in behind it.  Look for highs on both your Saturday and Sunday in the mid to upper 50s with overnight lows in the 30s & 40s.  There's a chance that as you're waking up tomorrow morning, a few of you may need your ice scrapers to clean the frost from your windshield.

We'll see you at Noon on ABC 36 for your more on your weekend forecast!

T.G.I.F!

Get ready for a great looking Thursday! More on a BIG COOLDOWN this morning on #GMK on @ABC36Lexington! http://t.co/JtBhzhhX
