Mild & Breezy Wednesday, With Evening Rain

Midnight Update:  Skies have cleared across the region, allowing temperatures to fall into the mid 40s to lower 50s.  We will start Wednesday off chilly in the morning, yet temperatures will warm into the upper 60s by Wednesday afternoon.  Wednesday afternoon will also be windy, with wind gusts up to 35 mph at times.  A cold front will move through the region Wednesday night, bringing rain chances Wednesday evening through early Thursday morning.  Most of the rain showers will diminish by the Thursday morning commute, with more clearing skies throughout the day.  Cooler temperatures will return for Thursday, behind the cold front, with highs in the lower 50s.  Mostly sunny skies return for Friday, with highs staying in the lower 50s.  This weekend will feature partly sunny skies, with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Tonight will be rather chilly, yet we will have a mild and breezy Wednesday, ahead of an approaching cold front. The cold front will bring rain chances for Wednesday evening through Thursday morning, with cooler temperatures returning for the end of the work week.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies will be around tonight into Wednesday morning, with overnight low temperatures around 46 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Temperatures will be milder for Wednesday, with a high of 68 degrees ahead of an approaching cold front from the west. Skies will feature increasing clouds throughout the day, with the chance for rain showers developing Wednesday evening. Southwesterly winds will be breezy, and gust up to 35 mph during the afternoon.

THURSDAY: Rain showers will continue Wednesday night into Thursday morning, as a cold front moves through Kentucky. Rain showers look to diminish by Thursday afternoon, with some breaks in the clouds. Thursday afternoon will be cooler, with a high of 53 degrees.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny skies return for Friday, with afternoon high temperatures around 52 degrees.

WEEKEND: Partly sunny skies will be around for Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the mid to upper 50s. A weak cold front is expected to move through this weekend, yet no significant rain showers are expected.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 50s early next week, with partly sunny skies.
