Sunny and Pleasant Weekend Ahead!

Early Weekend Update: Temperatures will start off in the low to mid 40s for Saturday morning, yet with sunny skies Saturday afternoon high temperatures will reach a pleasant 70 degrees.  The UK vs. Louisville game will feature temperatures around 64 degrees at kickoff, and warm to near 70 degrees by the end of the game.  Saturday night into Sunday morning low temperatures will once again be chilly, with lows around 48 degrees.  Sunday will feature milder temperatures, with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures around 77 degrees.  Temperatures stay in in the mid 70s for Monday, with the chance for a few passing rain showers.

We have a beautiful weekend ahead! With chilly mornings, and pleasant afternoons with sunny skies, this weekend will feel like autumn.

TONIGHT: With clear skies, temperatures will quickly drop tonight into Saturday morning. We will have chilly morning low temperatures around 45 degrees! We haven’t been in the 40s for morning lows since May 25th, 2013.

SATURDAY: High pressure will be over the region on Saturday, giving us sunny skies, with a cool high temperature of 70 degrees. The weather will be perfect football conditions for the UK vs. Louisville football game at noon on Saturday. Temperatures will be around 58 degrees at 10am, 64 degrees at the noon kickoff, and 69 degrees around 3pm.

SUNDAY: After morning lows in the upper 40s, temperatures will get a little milder for Sunday afternoon, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 77 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will be in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees for next week, with partly sunny skies and the chance for a few isolated rain showers. We may have a spotty shower on Monday, yet the chance for rain increases as we get closer to the end of next week.
