Afternoon Update:

Partly cloudy skies should prevail this afternoon as temps only make it into the low to mid 60s for highs.  Winds will not be nearly as gusty as they were yesterday; however, it'll still be breezy.

Make sure to join Meteorologist Lauren Jones tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on your forecast!

Happy Monday!

In the Blue Grass, it's a good looking start to the day. In our eastern counties, we're tracking areas of fog which should burn off by late morning.  This afternoon, we're calling for temperatures to top out in the low 60s under partly cloudy skies.  A few of those clouds in our eastern counties could give way to an isolated shower or two.  This evening, get ready for a cool down.  Overnight lows will tumble into the upper 30s & low 40s...you might just need your heat!

Though temps will be cooler today and tomorrow, we're back in the mid 70s by midweek with scattered showers and storms.

After AM fog & shwrs move east, looks like a "Magic Monday!" More at 5am on @ABC36Lexington #KyWx
