Lingering Rain And Cooler For Tuesday

Midnight Update:  We will continue to have gusty winds through the early morning hours of Tuesday, with a few isolated rain showers.  Tuesday morning low temperatures will fall to around 41 degrees.  Tuesday winds will be lighter, with mostly cloudy skies, and the chance for another round of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms.  Tuesday afternoon high temperatures will be around 58 degrees.  Wednesday will be another cool day, with a high of 57 degrees and partly cloudy skies.  There will be a chance for a few lingering, isolated rain showers for early Wednesday, yet most of Wednesday afternoon looks to be dry with more sunshine developing.  Milder temperatures return Thursday through the weekend, with high temperatures around 70 degrees.  Thursday will feature mostly sunny skies, with the chance for some late day rain showers on Friday.  There will be a chance for a few isolated rain showers on Saturday, with partly cloudy skies.  Sunday looks to be dry with partly cloudy skies, and a high of 72 degrees.
We will scattered rain showers and thunderstorms tonight through Tuesday, with cooler temperatures for midweek. Warmer temperatures return for late this week and into the weekend.

TONIGHT: There will be scattered rain showers and thunderstorms developing early tonight, with some thunderstorms potentially having gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and small hail. A cold front will move through tonight, with overnight low temperatures around 41 degrees.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy skies will continue for Tuesday, with more scattered rain showers and thunderstorms possible during the day. The best timeframe for rain and thunderstorms look to be Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night. Tuesday afternoon high temperatures will be cool, with a high of 58 degrees.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Rain chances will linger for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, with overnight low temperatures falling to a chilly 38 degrees by daybreak Wednesday.

WEDNESDAY: More sunshine will return through the day Wednesday, with partly sunny skies for the afternoon. Wednesday high temperatures will remain below normal, with a high of 57 degrees.

THURSDAY: Winds turn out of the south to southwest on Thursday, helping high temperatures quickly get back to the 70 degree mark. Thursday will be a very comfortable day with mostly sunny skies.

FRIDAY: Another cold front will approach and move into Kentucky by late in the day, with increasing clouds and a high of 68 degrees.

WEEKEND: Temperatures will remain mild for the weekend, with a high of 71 degrees on Saturday, and a high of 72 degrees on Sunday. Skies will generally be partly sunny through the weekend, with a slight chance for some rain showers on Saturday.
