Afternoon Update:

As of your Monday lunch break, temperatures are in the upper 40s and low 50s with partly cloudy skies in the Blue Grass, and mostly cloudy skies in eastern KY and towards the TN state line.  We should stay dry though the rest of this afternoon; however, we have a wintry mix moving in by Wednesday.

Make sure to join Meteorologist Mark Stitz tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on our chances for winter weather!

It's a great start this morning, but watch out for wet pavement after an early EARLY morning rain.  We're mild otherwise with temps as you're waking up and heading out the door in the upper 40s & low 50s.  We'll top out in the low to mid 50s today...so don't expect temperatures to waver to much.  We're partly cloudy in the Blue Grass with a few more clouds sticking around in our southeastern counties.  Overnight, temps should drop a few degrees below freezing under partly cloudy skies.

Your Tuesday looks good under partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid to upper 40s.

We're forecasting a wintry mix on Wednesday - join me today at Noon on ABC 36 for more.

Tracking a few isolated shwrs along the MTN PKWY. More on our Nice & Mild temps at 5am on @ABC36Lexington #GMK! http://t.co/vHS9Y8XB
