Gusty winds from the south will continue to deliver unseasonably mild air as temperatures climb well into the upper 40s and approach 50 degrees in some areas.  Spotty sprinkles and some light rain showers will continue to slide east across the area.  The better chance for a steadier, soaking rain will arrive tonight into tomorrow morning, initially to the north and west.  Widespread rain will shift southeast across Kentucky early on Tuesday.  After a very mild Monday night and Tuesday morning, a cold front will arrive by midday Tuesday, causing temperatures to tumble through the afternoon.  A few snow flurries may occur before precipitation totally pulls away, on Tuesday evening.  High pressure will make for a cold, dry Wednesday.  A weak disturbance will cross the Ohio Valley on Thursday, producing some snow flurries or snow showers, potentially mixed with a few rain showers to the south.  A batch of soaking rain will arrive on Friday, potentially mixed with some frozen precipitation at the onset in northern Kentucky.  Most of the rain will move through the area on Friday night, although showers may linger in eastern Kentucky into Saturday.  Significantly milder air will build in from the south for the weekend, boosting temperatures to near 60 degrees on Sunday afternoon as moisture gathers ahead of the next system.  A shower will be possible late on Sunday.
