Old man winter is staying put until the end of the weekend.  Winds stay brisk out of the northwest at 5-8 mph and wind chills remain in the single digits to start your morning.  Afternoon highs today will reach the mid 30s for central Kentucky with western Kentucky nearing the 40 degree mark.  Dry and partly cloudy through the afternoon with winds out of the west.Tonight temperatures drop to the low 30s, but winds switch out of the south.  Warm air moves in Monday with highs in the mid 50s.  The next frontal system will deliver rain late Monday afternoon to western parts and during the evening for central and eastern Kentucky.  A half of an inch to one inch of rainfall expected Monday through Monday evening. The big story for Monday is the breezy southern winds at 15-18 mph with gusts as high as 25mph or over.
