Winds shift out of the east where they will stay for your Monday at 5-10 mph. Easterly winds will allow for slightly warmer air. In addition, expect clear skies to remain with plenty of sunshine taking afternoon highs to the mid 50s. Our next frontal system will move in during the evening, which will offer rain by dinner to our western counties and then spread eastward. A quarter of an inch expected through the overnight with a possible thunderstorm after midnight. Tuesday offers much of the same; still warmer temps in the lower 50s, but cloudy with rain through the day changing to a wintry mix for our northern counties by Tuesday night as temps drop. Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with lows down to the mid 30s. With temperatures continuing to drop through mid week, expect some rain to change to a wintry mix or snow Wednesday and Thursday for northern counties in the Bluegrass.
