Vigil Held for Trayvon Martin in Lexington

Hundreds attend a vigil in downtown Lexington Saturday afternoon.
More than a hundred people showed up in downtown Lexington Saturday afternoon for a vigil for Trayvon  Martin.

The group prayed, chanted and sang in front of the federal courthouse for an hour, while cars driving by would occasionally honk their horns in support.

The vigil was part of more than 100 such gatherings across the nation after George Zimmerman was acquitted of killing Trayvon Martin last week.

Those that spoke at the vigil say now is the time for all Americans to come together to talk about the Nation's self-defense laws and race relations.
