A man who investigators said collided with a Lincoln County school bus May 7th remains in the hospital.

Troopers said William "Otis" Coleman of Stanford was driving his pickup when he was hit head-on by the bus on KY 78, about four miles west of Stanford.

According to State Police, the bus driver told investigators she had swerved into the oncoming lane of traffic to avoid colliding with another school bus that was stopped in traffic.

UK Hospital said Thursday Coleman remained in critical condition.
