State Police said Hubert Clark, 69, of Morehead, died Friday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Rowan County.
Investigators said Clark failed to negotiate a curve on Christy Creek Road in Morehead, lost control of his motorcycle, drove off the right side of the road and hit a rock embankment.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said alcohol was not believed to have been a factor in the deadly wreck.
The accident remains under investigation.
