A gusty breeze from the southwest will boost temperatures all the way into the middle 60s today.  While this is well above average, record territory is in the 70s.  Rain showers will arrive this evening from the west, with widespread rain showers occurring on Wednesday as low pressure slides toward the Appalachians.  The final rain showers will exit eastern Kentucky early on Thursday, and dry weather will return from midday Thursday through Friday.  Highs will be in the 50s from Wednesday through the end of the week.  The next storm system will arrive this weekend with widespread rain on Saturday and into Sunday.  At the end of the weekend, temperatures will fall and a few snow showers will mix with the final rain showers on Sunday evening and Monday.
