Urban County Council Asks State To Reverse Cuts In Child Care Assistance Program

Lexington's Urban County Council on Thursday voted unanimously on a resolution asking state lawmakers to reverse financial cuts made to the child care assistance program.

Isn't there a way to cut the fat in an area where it doesn't effect working people. If a family is trying to be productive and trying to make ends meet, they should have assistance. There are programs that suck the resources to give to those who have no interest in being productive that would be better to cut.
