Update: Woman Dies From House Fire

A woman is dead after officials said her recliner caught on fire.

Firefighters said the woman was unresponsive when they got to her home on Tates Creek Road.

They had to carry the woman out of the burning house and perform CPR in the front yard.

Flames were coming through the front bay window and firefighters had to use force to get into the home.

The damage is extensive.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire.
