A warrant was issued Monday for Lexington attorney John Scott Benton. Court documents show he didn't show up for a scheduled hearing to answer charges that he stole two statues from a Versailles Art Gallery.
Police want to find a Lexington lawyer who was supposed to be in court on Monday, but didn't show up, according to court documents.

A warrant is now out for John Scott Benton, who is accused of having two stolen statues at his Lexington home on Price Road.

Police said the statues, with an estimated value of $50,000, were stolen from a Versailles Art Gallery.
