Police have identified the victim in a Thursday evening shooting in Franklin County as Patty Tate.
Police say Mona Lisa Maupin is accused of shooting Tate in a home along Manly-Leestown Road. Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton says Maupin lived next door to the house where the alleged shooting happened.
University of Kentucky Hospital says Tate is listed in serious condition.
Investigators say the motive behind the shooting is still under investigation.
