Update: Suspect Called Armed And Dangerous Captured In London

The Laurel County Sheriff's Office said a shooting suspect's pinging cell phone led them right to him hiding in a port-a-pot Wednesday evening.
The Laurel County Sheriff's Office said a suspect considered armed and extremely dangerous was captured in London without incident Wednesday evening.

Investigators said they began looking for Zachary Franke, 20, of London, Wednesday afternoon after he reportedly fired a pistol in the direction of a cleaning lady in a home where he had been staying on Konitzer Lane in the Sublimity area.

Investigators said Franke fired the .38 revolver for no reason and then took off on a bicycle with the weapon, that authorities said was stolen.

Authorities said Franke's cell phone pinged and led investigators right to him hiding in a port-a-pot in the back lot of London Flea Land on KY 229.

Investigators said the gun used in the reported incident was also found in the port-a-pot.

Franke was captured approximately 5-hours after the reported incident.

He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center facing a number of charges.
