Kentucky Utilities said a small animal got into a substation that resulted in a power outage in the Pasadena Drive area of Lexington Tuesday afternoon.
A spokesperson for Kentucky Utilities told ABC 36 News that a small animal got into a substation, which caused a power outage Tuesday afternoon in the Pasadena Drive area of Lexington.

At the height of the outage, more than 700 KU customers were without electricity, which also included some traffic signals in the area.

The KU online outage map indicated less than 5 customers were still without power in Fayette County as of 5:50 p.m.
