Former Assistant UK Basketball Coach Rod Strickland pleaded not guilty to amended charges Friday.

Strickland was originally pulled over Thursday for failure to signal.

He was cited for having a expired license plate and a suspended license because of a DUI.

Court documents say his license was suspended in 2010 because of a DUI arrest, but it was reinstated in 2011.

This is why his charge was changed from a DUI suspended license to a suspended license.

Strickland is scheduled to be back in court at the end of the month.
