Update: Release Of Police Sketch Leads To Tips In Lexington Homicide

Lexington Police said investigators have received some tips since releasing a sketch of a "person of interest" in the death of a 74-year old Lexington man.
Lexington Police said investigators have received several tips since releasing a sketch of a "person of interest" in connection to the city's most recent homicide.

Neighbors gave investigators a description of a man they said was seen in the Tishoff Drive area where Tom Rogers, 74, was found assaulted in his home on November 8th.

Rogers later died from his injuries.

Investigators said it appeared some items were missing from Rogers' home.

Police did reiterate that the man depicted in the police sketch is not a suspect in the homicide, but rather someone they want to talk to in reference to the crime.

If you have information that could help investigators, call the Lexington Police Robbery/Homicide division at 859-294-3700.
