Update: Prison Escapee Recaptured In Lexington

Lexington Police said they recaptured a prison escapee Monday afternoon at the Sunset Motel on Georgetown Road. 

Investigators said Robert Vick, 42, of Hartford, walked away from Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington on Sunday evening. 

According to the prison, he was serving a six-year sentence for Burglary 2nd Degree and five years for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree.

He would have been eligible for parole in March, according to the prison.
