Update: Pregnant Jail Escapee Recaptured

Lexington Police said pregnant jail escapee Ashley Marler, was recaptured Thursday.

The jail said she escaped twice in one week when taken to a doctor's appointment.

She was on the loose for two days following her first escape and three days after the second.

The jail said Escape 2nd Degree charges are added to her initial charges of Receiving Stolen Property, Non-Payment of Fines, Failure to Appear and Probation Violation.
