Power was finally restored Monday evening to the remaining Blue Grass Energy customers who had been without power since Saturday, according to the company's online outage map.

Several thousand customers lost power after a heavy, wet snow fell Friday night into Saturday.  Tree limbs snapped under the heavy weight of the snow, bringing down power lines.

At one point, the entire city of Falmouth was without power.  Pendleton County High School was opened up as a shelter.

In Harrison County, at least two-thousand customers lost power.  A shelter was opened up at a church in Cynthiana.

There were also several hundred customers without electricity in Scott County.  Outages were reported in several other counties, including Bracken, Robertson and Jessamine.
