A two vehicle collision on Richmond Avenue in Nicholasville Wednesday afternoon claimed the life of a Nicholasville woman, according to Nicholasville Police and the Fayette County Coroner's Office.
Police said Billie Y. Blevins, 59, of Nicholasville, died at U.K. Hospital from injuries suffered in a two vehicle collision.
Investigators said Blevins was driving an SUV, the other vehicle involved was a Corvette.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
A report from the Fayette County Coroner's Office said Blevins died of multiple blunt force trauma.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Betts & West Funeral Home in Nicholasville.
