Court documents are revealing new details on the case involving the suspect accused of murdering a Lexington man.

Henry Stacy, 40, has been charged with murder and robbery.

According to court documents, Stacy went into the Tishoff Drive home of Thomas Rogers, 74, and began beating Rogers with different objects, killing him.

Police said, after the November 8th murder, Stacy stole cash, jewelry and a weapon from the home.

The court documents said investigators were told by witnesses they saw Stacy walk to his truck parked on a nearby street after the murder. Another witness reportedly told police Stacy admitted he "went into a man's house to rob it and he killed the man." Court documents also said one of the items taken from Rogers' home was given to that witness by Stacy. The documents also state Stacy traded cash and a weapon taken from the home for drugs.

One of the witnesses told police they could find Stacy's truck at a salvage yard because Stacy said he knew police would be looking for his truck. Police said they located the truck at the salvage yard but it had been crushed.

The court documents said Stacy denied having any involvement in the murder and robbery and said it had been several months since he had been at the victim's house.
