Update: Names Released In Double Homicide In Winchester

Winchester Police said they found a woman and her toddler dead inside a home on Vaught Road Sunday evening. Another woman was airlifted from the scene to U.K. Hospital.
Winchester Police said they found a mother and her toddler stabbed to death and another woman injured at a home on Vaught Road Sunday evening.

Investigators called it a double homicide.

Winchester Police said they found Danel Korrey Stanton, 23, and her daughter, Kaydence Ray Miers, dead in the home.  The child was just one month shy of her second birthday.

Police said the child's grandmother, Lilly Stanton, was found with stab wounds, but still alive.  She was airlifted to U.K. Hospital and was immediately taken into surgery.

Investigators said there are no outside suspects in the double homicide.

The case remains under investigation.
