The Madison County coroner released the fatal victim's name from the crash in Berea Sunday.

The coroner says Jesse Amburgy, 15, of Greens Fork, Indiana, died from trauma to his chest and lower extremities.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says four people were in the white 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix that ran off Kentucky Highway 21, east of Berea, Sunday around 4:25 p.m. The car hit a tree.

The driver, Kelsey Vickers, 18, was sent to St. Joseph Hospital in Berea, then to UK Hospital.

She has since been discharged.

The sheriff's office says the other two passengers are 13 and 16 years old. They are both at UK Hospital.

It's believed the wet road was a factor in the crash.
