Lexington Police say the man who crashed his motorcycle on Todds Road Wednesday evening has died.

Officers say Zachary Paul was riding his motorcycle around a curve when he lost control near 3920 Todds Road.

Witnesses say he was driving at a high speed.

Police add he wasn't able to regain control, and that's when he then ran off the road...and into a tree.

Paul was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

Police say he was wearing his helmet.
