Lexington Police say a driver who left an accident scene is now charged with DUI.

Officers say a driver hit a utility pole and left Thursday night in Lexington.

Other drivers say someone was swerving on Parkers Mill Road then clipped the pole, and ended up in a ditch.

Witnesses say that driver got out, and left with his dog.

Police later found Carl W. Anderson.

He's charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
