Two Lexington schools are remembering a teenager who the District says was shot to death.

The District says Patrick Puckett was shot in the chest Wednesday night on Ryan Circle.

He died later at UK Hospital.

Puckett was a student at Bryan Station High School until he transferred to Henry Clay a few weeks ago.

He was remembered Thursday as someone liked by everybody.

Administrative Dean Drew McCoy says, "His personality was his thing. Patrick never had a bad day. And even when it was a bad day for him, he had a smile on his face. And was always upbeat. And always very positive. And just had an aura about him. You wanted to be around him. And talk to him."

Police are still looking for a suspect in the shooting.
