Update: Kentucky Trails Florida In Blood Drive, But It's Not Over Yet!

With just two days left in the annual 'Big Blue Slam' blood drive, Kentucky trails Florida 1,050-to-844.

As an extra incentive to donate blood, Thursday and Friday donors at the four Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) donor centers will receive a movie ticket to an area cinema.

Donors will also receive a Big Blue Slam T-shirt and a chance to win a package for two to the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament in Atlanta - two tickets for the Thursday through Sunday sessions in the Georgia Dome and a three-night stay at the Westin Peachtree Plaza.

The blood drive continues through Friday.

KBC donor centers will be open 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and there will be a number of blood drives on the University of Kentucky campus and at various other locations throughout the region.
