Burnside Pastor Kenneth Allen Keith plead not guilty Tuesday to murdering three people at a Danville pawn shop.

Keith is currently being held without bond, but does have a bond hearing scheduled for December 2nd.

Keith made his first court appearance Tuesday, showing up with a bullet-proof vest on and armed guards escorting him in and out of court.

Keith is charged with gunning down Michael and Angela Hockensmith and Daniel Smith on September 20th.

Police say the triple murder happened at the Hockensmith's pawn shop in Danville where Smith was a customer.

Investigators say they arrested Keith after a man told them about a phone conversation he had with Keith days after the murders.

Court documents say while Keith did not admit to the murders; he did say that he didn't believe the Hockensmith’s were innocent bystanders in the robbery.

In the documents, Keith also says that the Hockensmith's cost him a lot of money.
