Update: Grandfather Says His 3 Year old Granddaughter Suffocated In Bean Bag Chair

The grandfather of Kylee Mills Simmerman said she suffocated after crawling into a bean bag chair in her Graviss Court home in Lexington.
The grandfather of a 3-year old Lexington girl who died Wednesday said she suffocated after crawling into a bean bag chair.

State Representative Terry Mills is the father of the little girl's mother. 

He told ABC 36 News that Kylee Mills Simmerman was found unresponsive in her home on Graviss Court in Lexington.

The Fayette County Coroner's office released a report Thursday afternoon that listed the cause of death as asphyxia/suffocation.

The Coroner's report did not list the manner of death.

Little Kylee was first reported missing Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators said a firefighter found her unresponsive in her home about a half-hour after she was reported missing.

She was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

According to her grandfather, the visitation will be this Friday, September 14 at Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The funeral will be Saturday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Augustine Church in Lebanon, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Marion County.
