Update: Georgetown Pet Pig Owner Fighting Ban

A woman in Georgetown tells city council her pig should be allowed to live in the city limits.
Cynthia Bruno's pet pig, Hampton, is still allowed to live in Georgetown for now.

Monday night, Bruno asked the city council to allow Hampton to live in the city as a pet after she was told he was not allowed in Georgetown.

Under the current city ordinance, livestock animals are not allowed to live inside city limits, but Bruno believes he is a pet.

The council will allow Hampton to stay for now, and plans to research the issue more before considering the issue at a later meeting.
