Update: Escaped Fayette County Jail Inmate Caught

Fayette County Jail Officials said they caught Robert Lee Eades, 38, today.

He is now back in the Lexington jail.


Original Story

Fayette County jail inmate Robert Lee Eades, 38, didn't return to jail on Friday from a work pass, according to the Detention Center.

A news release from the jail said Eades was released on a work pass at 9:00 a.m. and was scheduled to return at 2:00 p.m. on September 27, 2013. 

The jail said Eades was behind bars on a charge of Assault 4th Degree.
