Georgetown police are looking for a suspect they say robbed a McDonald's and punched an employee in the process.

Police say a male suspect threw an object through the restaurant's front glass door and held the employees hostage.

Investigators say one of the employees was on the phone trying to call police, when the suspect punched her in the face.

They say the suspect then took cash out of the register and fled on foot toward a neighboring gas station.

Police believe the suspect drove off in a silver or white Ford F-150. They say the woman who was hit in the face was checked out at the scene and not taken to the hospital.
