Update: Couple Accused Of Locking Children in Bedroom Plead Not Guilty

A Berea couple accused of locking their four young children in their bedroom each night in filthy conditions pleaded not guilty Friday to criminal abuse charges.
Not guilty pleas Friday from a Berea couple accused of locking their four young children in their room each night using chains and ropes.

Berea Police said Amber Bishop, 25, and Daniel Isaacs, 28, kept their children locked in their room at night with no access to a bathroom.

Investigators said the children were living in filthy conditions.

The couple was charged with criminal abuse.

The children, who are all under the age of 6, are in state custody.

Investigators said some of the children are Isaacs and some are Bishop's from previous relationships.
