Update: Coroner Says Woman Found Dead In Apartment Parking Lot Died of Exposure

The Fayette County Coroner said Wednesday that a woman who was found dead in her apartment complex parking lot on February 17th, died of exposure from being out in the cold for so long.
A woman who was found dead in her apartment complex parking lot last month, died of exposure to the cold, according to the Fayette County Coroner.

Gary Ginn said on Wednesday that autopsy results on Uta Lynn Nyberg, 53, of Lexington, showed she died of exposure to the cold after being out in sub-freezing temperatures.

The coroner said her death was being investigated as an accident.

Nyberg was found by a delivery driver in between two cars in the parking lot of The Village Apartments on South Locust Hill Drive on February 17, 2014, according to investigators.
