A boil water advisory issued earlier this week for all water customers in Owsley County was lifted Thursday, February 28, 2013.

The advisory was issued after a break in the line feeding Booneville's main water tank.

The break has been repaired and all water samples sent to the state for testing came back safe, according to water officials.
