Lexington Police, in cooperation with Kentucky State Police, have charged Henry Stacy with the murder of Tom Rogers, 74, of Lexington.

Police said Stacy was arrested November 14th in Manchester, Kentucky.

Investigators said he was charged with murder, Robbery 1st and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Police said Rogers was found November 8, 2013, in his home at 1216 Tishoff Drive.

Investigators said he had been stabbed with a knife and assaulted.

He later died from his injuries. At the time, investigators said it appeared some items were missing from Rogers' home.

Police say the two did know one another but will not elaborate on how.

Henry Stacy addressed a judge on Friday afternoon for the charges.

He did not enter a plea because he has not been appointed a public defender.

The judge denied him bond because he is being charged with a capitol offence.

Stacy will be back in court on November 20th.
