A third person has been arrested and charged in connection with a home invasion in Laurel County that happened last December.

The Laurel County Sheriff's Office said that Joshua Campbell, 21, was arrested May 30, 2012 in Kenton County.

Investigators said Campbell has been charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, and Assault 1st Degree.  He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center in London.

The Sheriff's Office said on December 8, 2011, Eddie Vincent Davis, 51, was assaulted and robbed of money and prescription medication during a home invasion in the Fariston Community, two-miles south of London.

State Police arrested Michael W. Townsend, 25, of Lawrenceburg, in the Morehead area and charged him in connection to the crime.

At that time, an arrest warrant was issued for a second suspect, Joshua Campbell.

Investigators said the home invasion began with a woman knocking on Davis' door.  That suspected woman was identified by police as Latasha Lynch, 21, of Laurel County.

Police said Lynch initially escaped from home incarceration, but was later found in the Morehead area and taken into custody.
