Unusual Red Fountains In Downtown Lexington

If you were in downtown Lexington Wednesday you might have noticed a sight that was little jarring.

The fountains in Triangle Park were bright red.

They were supposed to have pink water.

That's because the movie 'Pretty in Pink,' which is set to play as part of the 'Fountain Films on Friday' series sponsored by the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Lexington.

Somehow, instead of pink, the water turned out red.
