The University of Kentucky’s Board of Trustees announced Sunday that five new residence halls will be built on campus over the next two years.
More than 2,300 residence hall beds will be added to campus by the fall of 2014.
Construction will begin this November.
UK says this might be the largest and quickest expansion of housing in the college’s history.
