United Way And Blue Grass Airport Team Up For 5K On The Runway

The United Way of the Bluegrass and Blue Grass Airport have teamed up to his the second annual United Way 5K on the Runway.

The race will happen Saturday, June 15th at 8:00 a.m on the runway at the airport.

Eric Frankl, Executive Director of Blue Grass Airport said, "It provides runners, walkers and the general public an opportunity to experience the airport in a different way, in addition to providing a smooth, flat surface ideal for achieving personal best running times. We are excited to once again partner with the United Way if the Bluegrass for this event."

The cost is $30 for adults and $20 for children until June 14th and $35 the day of the race.
