The Laurel County Sheriff's Office said an undercover drug investigation led to the arrest of two men on Friday.

Investigators said Jerry Maxie, 45, of Booneville, was selling drugs out of his car in a parking lot along old KY 30 outside of London near East Bernstadt.

Investigators said one of Maxie's customers was David Gibson, 24, of Lexington, who's accused of buying hydrocodone pills.  Gibson was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Investigators said Maxie, in addition to hydrocodone pills, also had marijuana, rolling papers, a cut ink pen tube with a white residue inside it and a large amount of cash.  He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
