UPS Won't Pull Ad With Laettner Shot

If you haven't seen it, you probably will.

A new UPS commercial includes video of "the shot" from Christian Laettner that caused Duke to beat UK in 19-92. UPS has a hub in Louisville, and some Kentucky lawmakers are grumbling about that ad, saying it stirs up bad memories for many Kentuckians.

But lawmakers say they don't plan to do anything about it. And UPS says it doesn't plan to pull the ad.

Just astounding how UPS and ESPN continue to glorify conduct (by Laettner) that is unacceptable in any sport and that is the stomp. Loser Laettner couldn't take that his team was losing so he acted like a loser. Legally the shot never happened anyway because Loser Laettner should've been ejected from the game.
