Lexington's CentrePointe project could get off the ground in ten days.

The Urban County Council approved a plan Tuesday night that allows work to start.

Developers will be required to give the city $4.4 million in case parts of the project aren't finished and the site has to be restored.

CentrePointe plans include a hotel, apartment building and an office building.
