UPDATE: Suspect In Georgetown Street Shooting Turns Himself In

Lexington Police said Charles Taylor turned himself-in at the Office of the Fayette County Sheriff on Tuesday. He was charged with assault in connection to a shooting on Georgetown Street on June 30, 2014, according to police.
Lexington Police said a suspect in a shooting last month on Georgetown Street turned himself in on Tuesday at the Office of the Fayette County Sheriff.

Investigators said Charles Taylor was charged with assault.

Police said shortly after 11:00 a.m. on June 30, 2014, a man was shot in the leg and buttocks in the parking lot of the Shopper's Choice market.  The victim survived.

The shooting was captured on surveillance video.

Police said they were still looking for the second suspect who was identified as Lamarius Gates, who would be charged with complicity to assault.
